Do I have to work for a company to take training there?

No, you do not have to be working for a company to take any of our classes. All of our classes are open to the public.

How can I get a printed copy of the course schedule?

The easiest way is to click on the eagle in the top left corner.  You may also give us your name and address by phone (727)341-4445, fax (727)538-7228 or e-mail at cts@spcollege.edu.

Do you schedule customized classes for companies?

Yes, we do!  Contact Sharon Mercer at mercer.sharon@spcollege.edu or 727-341-4429 for a quote.

Do I need any computer knowledge to take an introductory computer course?

Previous computer knowledge is not needed to enroll in an introductory computer course. Please consult the course description for skills taught in the class and any prerequisites.

Where can I fill out a Consent to Release Student Information?

If you need to fill out a Consent to Release Student Information Form, visit the following webpage: www.spcollege.edu/ct/ferpa.html.

Do I need to purchase books for any of the courses?

Consult the description for your course of interest to see if you need to purchase any textbooks. Most Corporate Training classes have the instructional materials included in the cost.  There are a few classes that will require a textbook to be purchased separately.

Will classes be cancelled?

Every effort is made to conduct classes as listed in our booklet and on our web site. However, circumstances make it necessary for classes to be cancelled, postponed, or combined. If it is necessary for us to cancel or reschedule a class, you will be notified by phone or by email. If a class is cancelled you may transfer to another class, if available, or receive a full refund.

If I cannot attend a class for which I am registered, how do I drop/reschedule a course?

If you need to drop/reschedule a course before the first meeting of the class, please send us something in writing to process your request.  You may email us at cts@spcollege.edu or fax us at 727-538-7228.

What is your refund policy?

Fees are refundable if a student withdraws in writing prior to the first class meeting or prior to the second meeting of a class lasting more than one day. All course materials (books, assessments, handouts, disks, etc.) must be returned unused in order for refunds to be processed. Students will be billed for the course materials should a refund be processed before course materials are returned.
