Fentanyl: Drug Trends, Investigations & Officer Safety

This course is designed to teach how to identify fentanyl and latest trends in packaging and distribution. How to protect yourself from accidental exposure and possible overdose, and how to recognize the symptoms and respond to an officer overdose. Officers will learn how to collect, process, and preserve Fentanyl evidence while minimizing an exposure. The second day of the training course will focus on investigative techniques involving Fentanyl cases. Best practices for undercover operations and/or controlled buys.
Agency approval required before registration. Most agencies request that individual officers contact their training department prior to self-registration.This course has restricted access to only currently sworn and direct support staff of an agency.
