Domestic Terrorism

This course is designed to teach about domestic terrorist groups, how to recognize indicators relating to domestic terrorism. Students will explore law enforcement’s roles and responsibilities in combating domestic terrorism and will be presented with information regarding common terrorism indicators to include dress, speech, paraphernalia, social media posts, and several others. The course will discuss officer safety issues relating to domestic terrorism as many domestic terrorism events have turned into active shooter situations.
Agency approval required before registration. Most agencies request that individual officers contact their training department prior to self-registration.This course has restricted access to only currently sworn and direct support staff of an agency.
