Dangerous Narcotics/Improvised Labs for the First Responder

Protect yourself from unintended exposure to dangerous narcotics and chemicals. This one-day course is a combination of classroom and hands-on training. It is designed for law enforcement first responders who may come upon improvised drug labs or potentially  fatal chemicals or substances, such as Fentanyl/Carfentanyl.
Students will be taught to identify the tools and materials used in improvised labs and the dangerous substances used. Students will gain insight into the dangers of dealing with improvised drug labs and  how to properly handle the situation until the scene can be turned over to certified personnel. 
Agency approval required before registration. Most agencies request that individual officers contact their training department prior to self-registration.This course has restricted access to only currently sworn and direct support staff of an agency.
