This three-day course is specifically designed with minimal classroom and maximum hands-on realistic training.  Students need to experience a practical application of life saving tactics during violent attacks.   This course includes the perfect blend of defensive tactics, threat focused live fire range training and scenario-based role player training. This is a hands-on physical course which exposes the student to physical exertion during violent encounters.   

 Required Equipment:
*Day 1 Defensive Tactics attire – BDU long pants and t-shirt, gym shoes
* Day 2 and 3 Scenario and Range attire - BDU Long pants and long sleeve shirt (t-shirt or button type tactical) and tactical shoes/boots
* Duty gun belt with holster, magazine pouch, Duty weapon and 3 mag
*  200 rounds of ammo
Agency approval required before registration. Agency authorization form required: submission link

Most agencies request that individual officers contact their training department prior to self-registration. This course has restricted access to only currently sworn corrections officers.
