Program Description

SPC's "Electrical Lineworker" program, in partnership with Duke Energy, Powertown, Pinellas County Urban League, and Pinellas Technical College, is designed to provide students with the fundamental knowledge and basic skills needed when seeking a career opportunity in the electric utility industry as a lineworker trainee. The following certifications will be earned upon class completion:

• Restricted Class A CDL
• OSHA 10-Hour Card
• Bucket Truck Rescue
• Pole Top Rescue
• CPR & AED
• First Aid

We also have a Non-CDL version of the course for students who already have their Restricted Class A Commercial Driver's License

Cost

• The cost of this class (including CDL) is now $7,500
