FLSAR Rope Rescue Level 1

This is a 40hr, 5 day rope rescue level 1 course. This course meets the requirements set forth in NFPA 1006 Chapter 6 - Rope Rescue, and appropriate portions of Chapter 5 - General Requirements as well as NFPA 1670 Awareness and Operations. The course is designed to give students a solid foundation in the understanding of rope system components, knot tying, anchor systems, rappel systems, hauling systems, ascending, raising systems and patient packaging.
