This 8-hour overview course is designed for someone who has no knowledge or experience with UAS/Drones.
This class provides overview of the emerging uses of UAS, the need for safety and awareness of FAA regulations in regards to use of UAS commercially. This course will include: Hands-on flight lessons for students, flight demonstrations and drone displays, appropriate use, weather topics, and resources for drone operators.
Career opportunities for students with drone training include business entrepreneurship, military drone pilot, firefighter, disaster relief, search and rescue, law enforcement, oil and gas operations, border patrol, agriculture, package delivery, forestry, engineering, computer science, real estate, film and photography, and other industries.
