This course will examine the requirements needed for a thorough and complete initial size-up that sets the tone for successful fire ground operations while painting a picture for other responders. This will include a review of the critical factors to consider when developing your Incident Action Plan and your Risk Management Plan. By the end of the course you will be able to give repeated size-ups to multiple types of scenarios. The class is fire instructor and fire inspector oriented as both share an integral part of the overall process. The instructor is able to continue and improve the ongoing training process and the inspector from the post incident investigation analysis.
