The Patrol Rifle Instructor Course is organized and developed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and abilities of a Commission-certified handgun instructor to provide efficient and effective patrol rifle training. The skills developed during this instructor course will prepare you to instruct the Patrol Rifle Operator Course and Patrol Rifle Instructor Course as well as to deliver in-service patrol rifle training and qualifications at your agency.
 
Pre-requisites: All student instructors must pass a pre-qualification for attendance to the course on the morning of day 1. The pre-qualification will be the carbine course of fire, with the required instructor hit ratio. Instructor students.
MUST already be a CJSTC certified Handgun Instructor prior to taking this course.

 

Agency approval required before registration. Most agencies request that individual officers contact their training department prior to self-registration. This course has restricted access to only currently sworn and direct support staff of an agency.
