You may have heard the old saying that it’s better to have an 80% plan 100% executed than a 100% plan 0% executed. As with all facets of the business, the best laid plans are only as good as the execution, and this is especially true in marketing.  But how does one know if brand plans are being executed well? How can you organize your cross functional team to ensure they are aligned to the same goals? What measurements are needed to track your marketing plan’s effectiveness and determine if you’re meeting business objectives? We will cover all these topics in the context of real world business examples, and have robust discussions on knowing when to pivot and adjust your marketing plans.
In This Course You Will Learn:
  • Organizing teams and assigning resources to best support your marketing plans and priorities
  • How to track and measure progress against the key business objectives and questions you set (during the “Using Insights to Make Business Decisions” course)
  • How to develop plans with critical milestones
  • How to organize and align cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to have a culture and cadence towards driving results
  • Common measurements used within Marketing and Media and how to source data to measure success
  • How to create targeted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track performance
  • How to develop effective scorecards for yourself and to report results for other audiences
  • What it means to get a positive Return on Investment (ROI) in Marketing
  • How to react to marketing performance in real time making adjustments as needed based on results
