NFA Incident Command Systems & Resource Management
This class is a significantly revised 2-day program providing students with an understanding of the Incident Command System (ICS) and Resource Management (0376) for the Fire Service and their application in both emergency and nonemergency situations. It addresses the need for an ICS, an overview of the structure and flexibility of ICS, an understanding of the command skills necessary to function effectively in an ICS structure, and the need to effectively manage your resources. However, this class is not a refresher of ICS 100 through 700. It is instruction on how to apply incident command to the emergency scene with simulation exercises and classroom discussion. This course meets the requirements of ICS 100 and ICS 200. Successful completion of a written exam is required to receive a certificate.
