Programmable Logic Controllers II (Advanced PLCs)

In the PLC II course, the student will recognize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and its industrial applications. They will operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for industrial systems. The course will also teach and demonstrate the operation of automated systems using a human machine interface (HMI) and other interfaces. Further, the course will teach the student how to demonstrate effective troubleshooting skills by performing computer based and/or machine based troubleshooting; applying root cause analysis techniques to identify problem causes and evaluating & documenting corrective action options.
