This course is part of the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission Advanced Training Program. Injury & Death Investigations is a 40-hour FDLE salary incentive course. This course is designed for patrol officers and new detectives who have limited experience with these investigations. The course will provide insight into investigating the complexity of these types of crimes. The student will understand how to conduct the initial crime scene investigation when a death is involved.

There is an attendance policy and those attending will be required to pass a written exam with an 80%.
 
This course has restricted access to only currently sworn and direct support staff of an agency.
