This dynamic one-day course examines the specific responsibilities of correctional officers and explores the true potential for violence in the correctional institution. This course uses specific case studies and videos to help you examine the criminal thought process and will teach you to successfully detect pre-attack indicators, read body language and link your mindset to your performance.
 
This course will give you a detailed insight into the potential for violence in the correctional institution and cover important life-saving information.

Agency approval required before registration. Most agencies request that individual officers contact their training department prior to self-registration.
This course has restricted access to only currently sworn and direct support staff of an agency.
