This 24-hour class is designed to provide officers with an overview of kinesics interviewing techniques. Kinesics interviewing is the study and interpretation of human body movements that encompasses facial expressions, gestures, posture, torso, arms, legs and other body movements.
Kinesics interviewing helps the interviewer to analyze and make better decisions during the interview and suggest alternative avenues to explore. Kinesics interviewing enables you to spot deception, helps you to make betters decisions, avoids and resolves conflict and fosters more honest communication.
Agency approval required before class.
Most agencies request that individual officers contact their training department prior to self-registration.
This course has restricted access to only currently sworn and direct support staff of an agency.
