The course of instruction will provide training to firearms instructors to give them the skills needed in teaching end users with the utilization of Red Dot Systems (RDS) for agency approved handguns. Additionally, the course will provide students with information on the various RDS for pistols and the best means of implementing RDS use at law enforcement agencies.
Students will show proficiency conducting teach backs on techniques learned. Students will show proficiency with a minimum score of 80% on a written test.

Most agencies request that individual officers contact their training department prior to self-registration.
