Street Crimes Seminar
This course is designed to teach officers street-smart intelligence gathering techniques, interviewing tactics, officer safety issues and cultivating confidential informants. This course is designed for all uniformed personnel, detectives, and undercover officers.

 

Course topics include:  
  • Deadly Force Encounters
  • Car Traps, Hidden Compartments
  • Effective Interview Tactics
  • Gang & Drug Investigations
  • Officer Safety issues
  • Cultivating Confidential Informants
  • Interrogation Tactics/Legal Limits
  • Street Smart Intelligence Gathering
 
Agency approval required before registration. Agency authorization form required: submission link

Most agencies request that individual officers contact their training department prior to self-registration.
*Priority for registration into this class is given to agencies within Pinellas County. Remaining seats will be open to all agencies 14 days from the start date.
