Ladder for the Win!

This class will give the student an understanding for practical ladder applications and techniques beyond the minimum standards requirements, increasing efficiency and safety. The lecture will discuss the equipment and materials utilized during the hands on drills and will allow each student to apply these techniques practically during emergency situations.
 
Students will learn multiple ladders raises and techniques including chicken wing, ally raise, upside down balcony raise, marquee and shoot raise, ground ladder victim removals, hoisting, alternative leg and arm locks, and climbing techniques. This class was formerly When Things Go Bad: Unconventional Ground Ladders.
