Test Review for State Apparatus Operator Exam

This class is designed to prepare the student to successfully pass The Florida State Fire

College exam for Apparartus Operator. It brings together information from "Apparatus

Operations" and "Fire Service Hydraulics" both 40 hours each. The student will review

fire pump operations, fire pump theory, fire pump trouble shooting, fire pump components

and proper procedures and techniques to get water through fire hose from a water

source to an appliance. The student will review how to figure friction loss through fire

hose and appliances utilizing various formulas, mathematical calculations and equations.
