| This is a three day course consisting of one day classroom and two days hands-on, the |
| student will learn how to effectively and safely accomplish the many functions of a |
| truck company. The student will learn how these functions can easily be accomplished |
| utilizing an engine. In this class, each seat position on the truck or engine will be |
| assigned certain tools and functions to perform on the fire ground. Hands-on topics |
| include forcible entry through steel door/steel jam, through the lock, venting peaked and |
| flat roofs, trench cutting, burglar bar removal, using saws, aggressive interior searches, |
| team searches, venting with tool from above, lowering victims out of windows from |
| inside, roof rope rescue and more. |
