| wall trench. Topics include OSHA requirements, lumber and pneumatic shores, placing |
| sheeting, back filling, basic tools, hazard mitigation and patient extraction. |
| This course meets OSHA 29 CFR 1926.651 and Level 1 of NFPA 1006 Standard |
| for Technical Rescuer Professional Qualification, chapter 8. Topics include: |
| Regulatory overview; incident resources; site control and scene management; scene |
| safety; air monitoring/ventilation; lumbar shoring; pneumatic shoring; shoring straight |
| wall trenches; wale systems; patient extraction. |
