Recent Federal legislation allows law enforcement officers who retired in good standing to carry a concealed firearm, as long as they have both valid credentials indicating their retired status, and proof of annual firearms qualification. This class is designed to meet the qualification standard prescribed by law. Cards expire one year from class. SPC will provide handguns, holster, and hearing protection. If the student wants to provide their own equipment, the decision to allow the use of that equipment rests entirely with the lead instructor of the course.
