Mechatronics: Safety OSHA 30 (Construction)

This is an online course consisting of online self-paced content combined with hands-on instruction at the SPC Clearwater Campus Advanced Manufacturing Lab.

 

This course introduces OSHA and the OSHA regulations that apply to the construction industry. Introduces safety rules and issues in the use of electrical safety, fire safety, personal protective equipment, permit-required spaces, concrete and masonry, steel friction, welding and cutting, and heavy equipment. Provides the knowledge and skills necessary to help sustain life and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness to meet the various training needs of those in workplace, school or community settings.
