Native American History & Culture

This course focuses on the history of the Native Americans and their influence on the culture, survival and the spirituality of the New World’speoples – specifically in the TampaBay area. This course is taught by Roger Block, a TampaBay author. The course features a field trip to Boca Ciega Bay and the Anderson-Narvaez archaeological site. It offers a greater understanding of the significant cultural legacy left by native people who lived in the TampaBay area.
