This is a basic digital photography class taught by professional photographer Pierce Brunson. This course will help you:
- Learn the features of your camera, what they’re for, and how they will help you take a better picture.
- Learn about the necessary photo equipment, lens selection, filters and more.
- Learn the basics of good composition and good lighting.
- Learn about aperture, shutter speed, ISO and depth of field.
- Learn what makes a good picture.
After completing this class you will understand your equipment and be able to take photographs with more confidence and accuracy. There will be assignments, demonstrations, explanations, and in-class projects. Students should bring a camera, the manual, and fresh batteries, memory card, and any questions that you need/want answered.
Target audience: New parents, hobbyists, new camera owners, photography enthusiasts and the like.
