Workforce Education provides short-term certification training, many of which are included on the local Targeted Occupation List. Dependent on your situation, you may be eligible for funding. Contact the funders below to determine the eligibility requirements. Please note our courses are typically not eligible for Financial Aid/Pell Grant. In addition, Payment Plans may be available for eligible programs

CareerSource Pinellas


CareerSource Pinellas is here to help you chart a course for success. Receive personalized career consultation,  academic advancement, job opportunities and more with our team of career counselors, dedicated to helping every job-seeker find a career that meets their individual needs and talents.

Through a strong network of industry and educational partnerships, CareerSource Pinellas offers a wealth of resources for career seekers, including internships, training and certification courses, registered apprenticeships, and job placement services.

Grow Smarter Scholarship


Pinellas residents working in the service, retail, and hospitality areas whose jobs have been impacted or lost due to COVID-19. Recipients will receive a scholarship for full tuition, books and materials related to the selected training of their choice in the following areas: Specialized Manufacturing, Financial Services, Data Analytics, and Creative Arts & Design. This scholarship will be instrumental in starting a career pathway of success and stability for St. Petersburg residents.
