The Shotgun Instructor Course is organized and developed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and abilities of a Commission-certified handgun instructor to provide efficient and effective shotgun training. The skills developed during this instructor course will prepare you to instruct the Shotgun Instructor Course and Shotgun Operator Course as well as to deliver in-service shotgun training and qualifications at your agency.

Pre-requisites: All student instructors must pass a pre-qualification for attendance to the course on the morning of day 1. The pre-qualification will be the shotgun course of fire, with the required instructor hit ratio. Instructor students.
MUST already be a CJSTC certified Handgun Instructor prior to taking this course.

Equipment Required:
Shotgun
Shotgun ammo holder
Sling
Tactical Dress (no red shirts/hats)
 

Agency approval required before registration. Most agencies request that individual officers contact their training department prior to self-registration. This course has restricted access to only currently sworn and direct support staff of an agency.
