This course of instruction is based on the concept of Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) and is a continuing education for corrections. During this 2-day, 16-hour course the student will be instructed in life-saving medical procedures to aid in their own as well as other causality’s survivability. Principal concepts and actions to be taken for bleeding control, use of a tourniquet, topical hemostatic agents, opening and maintaining an airway assisting the casualty to breathe.
Duty gear, bdu pants and boots required.

Agency approval required before registration. Most agencies request that individual officers contact their training department prior to self-registration. This course has restricted access to only currently sworn and direct support staff of an agency.
