IPMBA Public Safety Cyclist Course *Agency Registration Required

This is the 32-hour International Police Mountain Bike Association (IPMBA) certification course that prepares officers to work the street from a bicycle.  This course involves a lot of outdoor activity including day and night open street rides, closed course obstacle navigation, scenarios, and basic maintenance.
Personal Equipment Required:
Eye protection (shatter-resistant, wraparound, clear and tinted),
Bicycle helmet (ANSI, Snell, CPSP approved).
Padded cycling gloves

Course hours 8am-5pm Mon-Wed. 12n-9pm Thurs.
Students must pass the written and practical examination required for certification.

Agency approval required before registration. Most agencies request that individual officers contact their training department prior to self-registration.
