Vehicle Operations Instructor Course

This forty hour program will provide the Instructor with the tools to offer recruits a strong foundation from which they can continue to develop and improve their driving skills to a high level while maintaining safe driving habits. As a driver training Instructor, an objective is to alert basic recruits to their responsibilities for safe and efficient vehicle operation both in stressful conditions and routine patrol.

Prerequisite: This CJSTC course teaches the techniques to become a Certified Police Driving Instructor. Law Enforcement personnel who have successfully completed the 64-hour Instructor Techniques class are eligible to attend. A passing test score of 85% must be achieved for instructor classes.
